My mother had fever for two days (39.5 degrees centegrade) which subsided with crocin accompanied by a burning sensation in the leg. The fever came back after one day and the leg became red. thereafter she developed blisters and oozing

Dear , as first add u have done good job as giving crocin for  fever on  first  day ,afterwards u have to consult doctor to know the cause behind that, Need to consut doctor for treatment

please visit nearest physician available this can be infective cellulitis. needs to be treated immidiately with physical examination and proper investigations.

As per your description, it appear cellulitis. May be streptococcus. Is she diabetic? If yes,then need admission and correction of infection with high-end antibiotics.
