Bruising on leg, varicose vein history

2020-11-02 19:56:17
My mother has been suffering from varicose veins since pregnancy but now, a few days ago she had a big purple bruise in the lower leg ankle area. Today again she got a bruise in another leg in the back side calf area. Her legs have been aching a lot since 2 months too, after she recovered from covid. Im attaching a picture of the recent bruise too. Can you let me know if it is normal or related to varicose veins of something else?

Please take a surgery opinion regarding your mother's varicose veins . You can apply thrombophob ointment locally at the bruised site which appears to be thrombophlebitis .
