Brown bleeding while on Dronis 20
Respected Doctor,
I have been taking Dronis 20 for the past 3 months for irregular periods.
It’s been 4 days ( it started on 18th day of taking the pill) since I have been having this brown bleeding (it ocassionaly is dark red) it’s definitely more than spotting. I hope this is not a cause of concern?
As the bleeding has been a little significant and has been going on for sometime can I discontinue Dronis?
After this month I am planning to go off Dronis and try to get my period naturally - Any suggestions for that?

Dronis is low dose estrogen pill . You can sometimes have breakthrough bleeding . Not a cause of worry , it’s just that the dose of estrogen component in the pill is insufficient .
Advantages of Dronis is that it contains a mild diuretic and helps to loose weight. Avoid dehydration when on Dronis.
