Sorry to hear about your brother's situation. Without sounding patronising and judgemental, I would like to reassure you that the situation is very frustrating and annoying both for your brother and his family. A person with addiction issues goes through various stages of motivation. Further any treatment and support needs to involve the patient and family with frequent and regular input. Regrettably brief stay in rehabilitation may not be adequate to resolve the issue. Best wishes.
