My little sister 15yrs old got hit by a motorcycle and suffered a broken bone. Based on the xray am not sure if that is the Tibialis Anterior that was broke. Anyway, she was told by our doctor to be casted with a plaster and eventually to a fiberglass, as she is still young and the bones will fix itself naturally. Its been more than a week now but she is still hurting when using crutches. I would like to ask for a second opinion if she needs to undergo open surgery or what-not for a faster recovery.
