Breastmilk jaundice

My son is 1 month old. He is diagnosed with breastmilk jaundice after his 2 week. He was born 3.24 kg. When discharged from hospital was 2.9. But since he is gaining weight and now he is 4.94 (height =53.5 cm)after 1 month but pediatrician is say it is extra gain for him.is it so? He is exclusive on breastmilk.

Hi..... Breast milk jaundice is a type of neonatal jaundice associated with breastfeeding. It is characterized by indirect hyperbilirubinemia in a breastfed newborn that develops after the first 4-7 days of life, persists longer than physiologic jaundice, and has no other identifiable cause.... Consult your Pediatrician for further advice....
