How to know whether my baby getting enough milk for every feed? As sometime I can feel he is getting enough milk as breast is heavy and milk continuous leakage while feeding but early morning it seems to be low as he cries a lot while breastfeeding. How much milk is needed for every feed for 1 month old baby.

Hello mommy! This is a common issue in the first two months. Many newborns will have some fussy time during the day/ night when they keep feeding and crying. This will make you think whether your milk supply has gone down or if it drops in the morning. Its not so.. If there engorgement during day, it means milk supply is fine. And also if baby is passing urine 6 to 8 times a day, then he is getting enough milk..Stay confident and feed well.

If the baby is sleeping for adequately and passing urine more than 5 times per day then he is getting adequate milk. We have to feed the baby on demand, when ever the baby wants and as much as baby accepts.
