Hello doctor, My baby is 20 days old, Doctor advised me for formula milk of 30-50 ml along with breast feed for 15 mins When I express milk..I'm able to get 25 to 30 ml in 15-20 mins. Kindly let me know if I still have to express and feed.? Is direct breastfeeding not sufficient for baby? My baby doesn't look satisfied even after 45 mins of Feed. Does that mean my milk supply is low of Baby is not able to suck well/? Also let me know how long should demand feeding last for? I need help as I don't want to continue formula feeding or expressed milk feeding.

Breastfeeding is the best feeding to be given to baby upto 6months. There is no need to supplement with formula if the baby is feeding directly from breast.
