There is insufficient information and lack of literature evidence TILL DATE to demonstrate with certainty whether doing tattoo during pregnancy or breastfeeding is absolutely safe or not. The absorption of pigment after the procedure is minimal and the chances of any side effect happening is negligible. However due to inadequate global evidence I would recommend deffering your procedure by a few more months till you wean off the baby and the frequency of breastfeeding has decreased.
