BPH - enalrged prostate
I had this problem with BPH 57 gms in May 2015. I started woth tablets SELODAL. It continued for few months. Then I switched over to Ayurvedic traetment- HIMPLASIA & URAL BPH. It still went fine. There came some irregularity. I got teh sonography done yesterday. BPH is 47 gms. Is it a cause of worry?
The size of the prostate doesn't matter. Important is whether you have any symptoms, like difficulty in passing urine, frequently passing urine. The size on USG can vary. It needs treatment only if there are symptoms. Also you need to check your serum PSA level, which is blood test for prostate. So start medicines if you have any symptoms. Not sure how much Ayurveda medicine will help you.
