BP tablet stopped

Hello Doctors I had been diagnosed with palpitation and high bp (140/90) 4 months back, ECG ECHO TMT were normal For BP and palpitation I have been advised ARBITAL 40 I stopped Medicine for couple of days and moniterd BP and it is constantly 125/80 Kindly tell do I stop BP medicine or should I continue?

It takes 4 months... to regularise Bp.. again if you stop now.. Have a regular check up.. daily weekly basis Consult your personal physician and then come to a conclusion

You should bp charting for 7 days .Restrict salt intake and do regular aerobic exercises .You should take fruits and green vegetables.

hi..i would suggest you to switch from telmisarton to amlodipine for fewer side effects since you say that the ecg, echo are normal..take a second opinion on the ecg and echo before switching

No you should not stop bp medications like that.. Bp might show normal range for a week or 2 but suddenly it'll rise. Consult your doctor for drug change if you have side effects. Bp medications are to be taken for life long and not be stopped in between.
