I am using chest binder as i suffered 5 broken ribs. for how long a day we should use chest binder in case of broken ribs?

Chest binder is only for pain relief. You can take simple painkillers than using the binder. What is more important is to do deep breathing exercises to help your lungs and stop using the binder

Not much role of chest binder in rib fracture ; sometime tight chest binder cause malunion of rib fracture by overlapping of fracture ends . Simple analgesics  and deep breathing exercises is the treatment of choice in uncomplicated rib fractures
