Bone TB Diagnosis and treatment

Sir a am suffering from backpain on si joint since 8 month I have done mri x Ray ALB27 in February.ALB negative. Esi 46. MRI x find sacroiliatis in si joint I have treated 6 month multivitamin. Vit d3. Pain killer but nat relief in this month 1/8/20 I am going to suddenly serious condition my left leg not working due to pain I fill High fever.weakness. I admit in hospital Dr repeat MRI.x raye. They say to me I have bone TB on si joint. CBC.KFT.LFT.urine. is normal crp.esr increase. Ibam unable to talk medicine is not effect on me. MRI find. Push. Inflammation.like infection some erosion on bone pericapudular edema. What I can do sir.please suggest me. Sir I needed to biopsy???

Hello Practo User, Based on the history you gave,there is infection in your sacroiliac joint. Yes ,..a biopsy and histopathological examination and culture and sensitivity of organism found, has to be done. Without biopsy the correct diagnosis cannot be made.

If your Orthopaedic doctor has advised biopsy , please go ahead and get it done.
