Blood in stools

Hello doctor My son is 20 months old .He is not passing his stool regularly  and in 3 -4 days he pass his stool with so much of pain and while doing  it blood  comes from that .it almost 20 days now. Pls help

Its mostly constipation...give stool softner like lactulose or Pegclear liquid.... Give plenty of liquid orally to avoid hardening of stool..

Make sure to give plenty of water along with reduced milk intake. This is constipation and need to be addressed immediately otherwise it will create fear in child mind and child will start avoiding going for potty. Improve diet rich in fibres including vegetables and fruits. Consult if in doubt or for better understanding

Start toilet training. Train him to sit and pass stools
Next Steps
Give him plenty of liquids/ water. Give green leafy vegetables and fruits. Fibre rich diet .you can give stool softener Syr . Duphalac for few days.

It seems constipation/hard stool  related Plenty of fluid Give Honey at night Increase fibre in diet ( add green vegetables and fruits ) Avoid juices If still persisting will need Pegclear syrup
