Blood in stool

For the past 4 days I am seeing a small amount of blood in my stool. There is a very sharp sensation before the stool comes out and then its normal. Can anyone help me with this? Is it something serious?

Drink lots of water,stop eating hard foods. Start eating fibre rich foods ..!! If problem persists consult a surgeon and use stool softners for few days!!!
