Blood clot in eye

I wake up in the morning and showing blood clot in one eye near to retina. Till yesterday nothing was there. What is the causes and complication.

Hello Your symptoms are suggestive of sub conjunctival hemorrhage This is benign and don't need treatment This usually resolves with time Having said that it is provisional diagnosis Kindly share photos of your eye so that I may guide you better Regards

I think you are referring cornea not retina . That's called sub conjctival hemorrhage. It's generally self subsides . If u have any foreign body sensation use a lubricant eye drop 4 times a day Use vit c tablet once daily for 15 days
