Blood cancer report
Attached is the report of my father. Can't understand what this report is of? On the basis of bone marrow report doctor diagnosed cml but in the second report on the top in diagnosis section it is written aml. Now I am really worried whether it is cml or aml ? What this report is about?

Actually clinical picture is suggestive of CML but it may be written as acute by mistake by lab diagnostic person who doesn't have any idea. Also in your case BCR ABL was not detected. So need to go for myeloproliferative neoplasm panel test. If that is also negative ,.one has to go for a FISH test or NGS to look for atypical transcripts of BCR_ ABL to confirm the diagnosis.
