Blocked nose since a week
Hello doctor,
I've had this nasal block in my left nostril since I had a swelling in my bone [as a fall out of an infection from an Root Canal Treatment (RCT)]. I told the dentist about it and he put me on a 5 day course of Augmenting for the second time when I told him that the blocked nose interferes with my sleep and even otherwise quite problematic. I haven't got much relief with the antibiotic prescribed. What should I do now?
You seem to be suffering from acute rhinosinusitis which is common type of nose and sinus infection which can occur secondary to dental root related procedures. You may need to take a course of different antibiotic along with anti cold medicines and decongestant nasal drops for few days
