Went to walkin and got perscribed azithromycin for throat infection. will this affect my birth control pills

You seem to be suffering from acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection. You can take aziththromycin for this condition. It won't interfere with functioning of birth control pills in general
