My partner took an emergency contraceptive pill within 30 hours of intercourse. It's been 7 days since and what started as bits of spotting has now become a flow of blood which she says resembles her normal menstruation flow. Is it a side effect I should worry about? Or is this implantation bleeding? Or just an overdose of hormones causing her normal periods to occur soon? Her period is still due by 14 days. We just don't want her to get pregnant
