For the last few months my lips have started turning black..first the upper lip turned black and now the lower one..i dont smoke or drink..but i do have upset digestion.. doctors have recommended liver tonics many times..what can be the reason

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Lips turning black doesn't mean anything specific because many people are genetically predisposed to have slightly dark lips.
