My daughter is aged 7yrs physically fit and fine. Recently we had seen black line on the upper and lower gums. Pic enclosed. Otherwise she is not having any dental problem. Pl advise what is this? Otherwise she is maintaing a good oral hygiene.

Not to worry its physiologic melanin pigmentation  which is normal and seen in few individuals.

Might be melanin pigments pls visit the clinic for need full

Please visit the clinic every 6 months nearly around 18 yrs of age if present think of laser de pigmentation

Hello mam Please do not worry about this black color discoloration. These are called Melanin pigmentations. It is also present in our skin and responsible for different skin tones. Pictures shows normal healthy gums with normal Melanin Pigments.

From the pics attached seems like normal pigmentation of gingiva...nothing to worry, she is doing fine...
