Birth control pills
Hi doc.
I have 3 month old baby which is total on breastfeed. I have done physical relation first time after delivery. I want to know medicine for birth control which is not harmful for my baby. And how to take pills. Pls suggest medicine . currently i am taking iron calcium and supradyn tab.

Combination pills are contraindicated in breast feeding .but progesterone only pill can be taken .but it can cause breakthrough bleeding .so please discuss with your gynecologist once before you start taking any medication.discuss the option of intrauterine devices also
