Birth control pill confusion

Hi, I to start on the birth control pills recommended by our gyn. It has to be started from 5th day from my periods however I had two week early periods due to an early contraceptive i had to take. Now i am confused should I consider 5 days from this bleed or should I wait another two weeks for my ususal date period and then count 5 days, plz hlp
