I was diagnosed with left eye amblyopia. I can't see much from left eye. Even with specs i feel like i am seeing only through my right eye. I want to understand how my binocular vision and depth perception is affected. I tried understanding the report given by doctor but could not understand. Can you please explain this.

Let me try to explain you simply, you can not appreciate a 3D movie with one eye closed. When 2 images of good quality superimpose with slight variation depth perception is appreciated. Binocular means two eyes.So depending upon  amblyopia severity, your visual parameters are affected. There are various test for it.You have Astigmatic amblyopia.
Next Steps
Regular eye checkup
Health Tips
Wear glasses, and do the exercise advised by your doctor.Avoid rubbing eyes
