cataract operation is not done by laser.it might have been misinterpreted. 1st please get her refraction done. and if she gets useful vision with glasses then you can postpone the operation for some time. but if vision doesn't improve satisfactorily then it has to be operated. and best operation is by micriincision phacoemulcification with foldable pc iol. .the iol quality varies.
