Bat flew very close
Day before yesterday at night while walking a bat flew very close to my head .
I heard it in my ears and felt something not sure if it bit me .
Do I need to take rabies shot ? Today is day 3
Also can bats bite while flying? Or they will atleast have to hit against you to bite you??
In India, we only have fruit bats, and they do not bite people or animals, and they don't spread rabies. A specific bat type called vampire bats are the one which can spread rabies. Luckily, they are not in Indian. So you don't have to worry. Rabies vaccinations are similar to another vaccinations. Any one can get it. No harm in it.
