My father is a dialysis patient. Last 3 months he was having back pain, we thought its due to 4 hrs of continuous dialysis lying on bed. But just two weeks back he had severe pain and fever once, so we consultalted orthopedic who suspected spondilitis and prescribed IFT for 10 days . But just IFT started he started feling numbeness below his waistline throughtout his leg. The numbness incresed rapidly and within three days he could not walk at all, he is having tremors. The physiotherapist suggested to visit neurologist. We visited neurologist who asked to admit in hospital and do CT scan and MRI. So we admitted him. CT scan report was fine but MRI report showed some lesion at the spine in the thoracis region. So doctor asked to do FNAC, because he is suspecting bone TB. Finally doctor said he suspected correctly and started treatment for bone TB. But yesterday a neuro surgeon asked it is necessary to do surgery at the spine. Two levels of spine need to be replaced by metal cage. Plz s
