Hi, I have been diagnosed with ruptured disc on my right side at the base of my spine which is pressing on a nerve to my leg. I have been referred to a surgeon and taking pain medication. However the last 3 weeks or so I have been suffering badly with pain in my upper back, just below shoulder blades, definitely on the right side but towards the middle of my spine. Are the two linked?
