Doctor my baby is 8 months old. He is doing watery loose stools since 8 days around 8 to 9 times in a day. I am giving him medicines but nothing is working giving oflomac syrup econorm sachet and an enzyme also but nothing is working. M feeding him dalia, oats, ragi, banana puree, can I feed him cerelac ? Not giving any top up milk just giving mine breast milk. Cerelac contains milk can I give him cerelac ?

Hi, you should avoid oats as it is high fiber diet which increase loose stool... Give rice,khichdi, curd,banana and pomegranate juice... Continue BF.. Add zinc syp 2.5ml two times for 14 days..

No cerelac now. Give him kichdi/ rice based diet. Loose stools takes time to settle.

You ( mother) avoid dairy products for few days. Give baby Syr Z and D 1 ml once daily for 2weeks and continue other medications.
