Hello, our baby girl born 1st march in private hospital in chennai. Is it to follow government type injections or to private hospitals. As private hospital they are mentioning different injection cost rs.3600 . As am little confused. Kindly clarify it. Regards, Mani

Govt hospitals give following injections at free of cost 1.Easy 5 (DPT/Hib/HepB) 2.OPV 3.Rota virus (in some states) *IPV is in shortage hence you might get as fractionated dose. Rest other Special vaccines will cost you 1.Pneumococcal
Next Steps
Private Drs will charge you for maintaining cold chain.  Vaccines get ineffective if cold chain is not maintained.
