My baby is around 1.5 months old and he needs feeding in every half an hour. Is it normal as he starts crying after 30 min of feeding.

This is normal and please be reassured. Mothers may be surprised at how frequently babies need feeding in the early days. It is perfectly normal to the baby to feed at the breast many times a day - 12 to 15 feeds a day is normal at this age.
Next Steps
Let the baby feed completely on one breast at a time as the hindmilk (milk which comes at the end of a feed) has more fat than the fore milk (which comes at the start of a feed). So, hind milk will make the baby more satisfied and less hungry. Offer the second breast also to the baby but please do not be concerned or anxious is the baby does not seem to want the second breast. That is also normal.
Health Tips
As time goes on, feeding will become more predictable and flexible but in these early days, meeting your babies needs is essential.
