Heya there...
37 nowadays is the new 25.
At this age, you should be at the peak of your health in all aspects.
It is truly unfortunate that hormonal acne has been diagnosed and dry fruits and seeds have been asked to be avoided... Apologies but I think your treating doc must be 🥜🔩 nuts 🫢
Firstly, a more detailed history needs to be taken including your height, weight, BMI etc and a
LH:
FSh ratio or PCOD profile done together with details on personal, sexual, family & psychological associations before we arrive at a comprehensive management plan for you.
While removal of these nuts should not cause such a major change in your constitution, or lead to deficiencies, it is not that life changing for acne. Technically, acne has no direct correlation with foods.
However, a type of acne called Acne Rosacea is known to be aggravated with use of certain foods eg Chillies (spices) 🌶️ hot beverages eg ☕🍵 and when directly implicated, these must be avoided.
Weight loss (for optimal BMI given your height and weight indices), Regular Exercise (preferably isometric eg swimming, sex, yoga), Good Balanced Diet and a Healthy Happiness Index (eg good work life balance ⚖️) - all help in achieving what medicine will struggle to do and control your acne.
Good Luck 🍀
