Attacks of unconciousness

My grandfather is experiencing attacks of unconsciousness and prior to this he had consulted a doctor back in hometown some year back.Doctor consulted him to wear survical collar for 10 hours per day. Today he experience a severe attack. he didn't fell unconscious but he felt like every things got tumbled,he's vision faded.
