When I need to take my rescue inhaler (I used ventolin when my asthma is bad and bricanyl when it is really bad as the bricanyl is a highe dose) i get side effects; sore irritated throat, cough etc. I have tried to take less puffs but this results in not being strong enough to reduce my asthma symptoms.

Dear madam  you may be taking your Inhalers directly without using a  spacer which causes the medication to get deposited back at the throat with less medicine going into your lungs. This may be the cause of your symptoms.  I would suggest you may consult with a pulmonologist for better asthma evaluation and management Thanks
