My wife is ascites patient & after diagnosed intestinal tb root cause found. It will be correct or any reason. If correct , Please tell me what will be the test is required to find out intestinal tb occurred of my wife. Pl tell us the solution. Telkar S.V

Intestinal tb is a common cause of ascitis in india. You will need an acitic tap for tlc/dlc , sugar protein, af stain and adenosie deaminase tests for diagnosis. Take care to follow up with the dpctor near you. Take complete course of tb medicine inorder to prevent failure of treatment. Eat healthy protein rich diet to boost immunity.
