I have had stitches on the inner of my bottom lip and the outer just below my lip. 2 Weeks after the stitches have been removed the area around the stitches is extremely itchy and swollen. I have been using alcohol swabs to clean the area and have been apply bactroban but this is not helping and is making it more itchy. I have used bactroban for 10 days now. Today my lips are extremely swollen but the stitches itself is fine.
