My husband seems to think that adding lentils to our one year old daughter's everyday diet is not advisable. He says lentils (dal) lead to gas and weak knees (bones?). I think it's a good source of protein and iron. He also thinks we should not let the baby consume 150 ml of milk in a single stretch at night. Instead he suggests we should let her take breaks in between to let the milk digest properly.
What is your professional view on this.
