Appendicitis
Recently i had been diagnosed with 13 mm sub acute appendicitis in ultrasound report. Therefore i took 1 week of antibiotic medication and got my ultrasound done again. Surprisingly my appendicitis size has been reduced to 8.8 mm. However some surgeons are suggesting me to go for surgery only because it can reoccur anytime. Please suggest

That's true. Appendicitis does reccur. But not in all cases. But still all patients with appendicitis once are recommended to undergo appendicectomy asap because if appendicitis reccurs chances of life threatening complications are always there.
