Anxiety at work

Shifted to a new firm in December. Was on a three month sabbatical before that because of workplace stress. The old boss has gotten too critical and personal and I couldn't cope. At the new place, the people are nicer. But the role demands too much and I'm constantly struggling to finish things. There's a lot on my plate which I'm doing the first time and I'm worried I'm failing. I'm not able to sleep well, be happy and even on vacation I'm thinking of work and what's left. I've already contemplated leaving and just sitting at home at avoid this stress. It's crippling anxiety and I need a way out.

I think you are actually growing by exposing yourself into these new situations. As the people around you here are nicer I think you can come out of ur comfort zone and and work towards your growth of ur future. If you find any difficulty in completing some tasks or work you can always seek your colleagues or friends help to complete it better and quicker
