hi there are 2 school of thoughts. just give anti d if there is manipulation or procedures or micarriage in pregnancy and give antid within 72 hrs of birth after testing babies blood grouping. rarely a rh negative baby can be born if you are hetrozygous rh positive
the other school of thought is there is always feto materno traffic of cells in the womb what if sensitisation should happen give a anti d shot at 28 and 32 to 34weeks irrespective of the events of normalcy and have a shot at afterbirth within 72 hrs.
