It take a while for the paleness to improve as the hemoglobin levels are within normal limits(12.0-15.5) so anemia is ruled out. The other possible causes are:
- lack of sun exposure
- skin that is naturally pale
- cold exposure and frostbite
- shock (dangerously low blood pressure)
- blockage in the artery of a limb
So if there isn't a progressive improvement in the paleness, kindly visit a MD general medicine so that she can be examined and undergo necessary investigations to find the underlying cause and have it treated accordingly.
