I am Dr. Atul Kumar Nimawat, MS ENT.
From your description, your main concern is repeated bouts of sneezing (around 10 times) triggered by washing face, touching/rubbing nose, or even change in posture. Importantly, there is no nasal discharge, blockage, pain, or swelling.
This presentation is most commonly seen in allergic or hyper-reactive nasal mucosa. The nasal lining in some individuals becomes oversensitive to minor stimuli such as temperature change (water splash), mechanical touch, or posture change. This condition is usually benign but can be bothersome.
