My dog is suffering with diarrhoea with blood and dr prescribed some medicines for her. However, I could not find the metrogyl syrup that dr mentioned in the pharmacy. They gave me combizol+ instead. Is it safe to give her this medicine? Will it have the same effect as the metrogyl syrup? Please advise me on what to do.

Metrogyl is metronidazole, whereas combizol+ is metronidazole and ofloxacin. Both drugs are commonly used in veterinary practice. You can use them, but you need to get your veterinary doctor's advice regarding the same and get an appropriate dose for your puppy based on the body weight.

Yes you can use it. But discuss the dosage with your vet as yours is a pup you cannot divert doses. However metrogyl is a very common medicine to find at human pharmacies.
