Allergic cough not improving

My son 3 yrs is suffering from allergic cough past 1.5 month. He is on Antihistamines, nasal spray , cough syrup whatever prescribed by paediatrician, ENT specialist. His adenoids are also just mild . No other symptoms. His chest, throat clear as examined by doctors. No nose breathing, no fever . Last option is antibiotics. Does it work ?

Hi Antibiotics will not work for allergic cough. You may need to see a pulmonologist/paediatrician and check if he needs some inhalers/nebulisation. Warm regards, Dr. Aanchal, Therapeia centre, Bangalore
