Alcohol addiction

My spouse is addicted to alcohol he doesn't drink for days but when he drinks doesn't stop for 2-3 days which effects our daily routine for atleast 4-5 days keeping in mind after effects like vomiting the whole night and sleeping for next two days. How can this be sorted. Please help
