My father is diagnosed with aggressive periodontitis.
Doc has advised to go for flap surgery and bone grafting.
Can somebody tell the possible consequences if we don't undergo flap surgery and bone grafting.
He has only 17 teeth left and aged 67 yrs.

Well your question is not that difficult to answer based only on logic. If you don't go for the flap surgery the aggressive periodontitis will cause more damage and make that teeth non restorable and ultimately they will have to be extracted.
This modality of treatment is basically aimed at saving the natural teeth.
