My mother is getting angry at almost everything, always agitated, irritated, feeling useless, not eating properly. And importantly does not want to visit a Dr for her condition. Please help and guide

U can consult a doctor at practo.. If ur mother unwilling to visit doctor then u can bring doctor near to her through practo.

Patient at that age with those symptoms may have the diagnosis of Depression.But is that depression is primary or secondary to medical conditions and/or dementia, a detailed medical and psychiatric evaluation is to be done.Diabetes, Blood pressure, Hypothyroidism, VIT D or or other vitamins deficiencies should be ruled out.
Next Steps
As mentioned above , there is a need for medical and psychological evaluation.Dementia pts generally present with difficulties in the memory processes.Forgetting can make them irritable and some of the complaints as mentioned.
