After maternity stitches ache

My wife had vaginal delivery on 20 jul2020. But she is still having problem in stitches...as the medicine for healing the stitches which she is taking is reactioned to her...Now we have a plan for travel to hometown on 15 Aug2020. Which is around 20 hrs journey by train in 3rd AC. Can she travel??

Healing of stitches or travel which is your concern.without a clinical check up it’s not right for me to advise about the fitness to travel .my advice is to consult the gynecologist who delivered her before going out of station

She can apply povidine ointment at the suture site and have sitz bath twice daily. Before travel she can have examination once
