Hello, From the given clinical history it seems that, 1. Upper front  teeth are erupted in proclined I. E forwardly placed position & also have gaps in between the  front teeth & requires appliance . 2. Upper jaw permanent canines are erupting, but have no space to erupt .Also, milk teeth i.e Canines are preventing the eruption of permanent canines. It requires either  extraction or wait & watch; if it's moving intraorally & are about to exfoliate, 3. Also, depending on the results of the in office clinical examination by the dentist or orthodontist & also it requires space maintainers as a guide to normal eruption of the canines of upper jaw.
Next Steps
visit dentist or orthodontist for the same

As it appears on one of the xrays, few teeth have no space to come into place properly. In such cases there are few appliances which can be used to enable his teeth to come into position or braces can be used to gain space. As for another xray, it appears that an appliance is needed to bring his lower jaw forward,  but advisable to get it checked from an orthodontist.
Next Steps
Braces can be given at this age also as all teeth have come out into the oral cavity except 2 upper canines, which is fine to start the treatment. This will also help create space for the un-erupted upper canines.
Health Tips
Choose a dentist you trust and get the treatment done.  Do not take too many opinions in this particular case as it will get confusing for you.

Hello As clear from the x-ray, your son is 10 years old so this is not the right time to go for the braces treatment. That would be done only once all the permanent teeth have erupted completely that is by the age of 13 to 15 years. But yes as you mentioned the dentist has advised you to go for some appliances to move his lower jaw forward such appliances are known as myofunctional devices or appliances. This is the right age for them to be used as that would help in natural growth of the lower jaw in a forward direction, thereby decreasing the severity of braces treatment that would be needed in the future.
Next Steps
kindly visit an orthodontist or braces specialist for a proper checkup, guidance and treatment

Yes this is the right time to get orthodontic treatment for your kid as he is in his growing age and the appliance will work very efficiently in this age and help to move the lower jaw forward and it will also reduce the fixed braces treatment time . Also if you don’t get his treatment done now then later there is a chance that there will be need of few permanent tooth extraction to move upper teeth back which can be avoided now.
Next Steps
Visit your Orthodontist as soon as possible.
Health Tips
If treatment is done in growing age then both the upper and lower jaws and teeth will be treated in harmony and balance and the need of few permanent teeth extraction can be avoided now.
